I wanted cute pink nails but they were so chunky people ask if my nail tech was blind

A WOMAN who wanted a fresh set of cute acrylic nails left with something very different from what she imagined.
Since her husband gave her a gift card for a local salon she was looking forward to the pamper session - but that quickly went out the window.
Posting on a Facebook group, the beauty fan said she told the nail technician to "go with what she's comfortable with" in regards to shape and design.
So when she was left with uneven and chunky nails she was furious.
The pink glitter design left a lot to be desired and others were just as shocked by the shoddy application.
"I told her they were ridiculous and unacceptable, took my gift certificate off the table, and walked out," the nail hopeful explained.
And although no one tried to make her pay after refusing, she joked she wouldn't be able to go back to the same salon again.
Once she got home she immediately got to work filing and cutting the talons in a bid to fix them.
Admitting defeat, she told users she was going to do her own nails from now on instead.
She added: "My husband really thought they looked good, I finally showed him these comments and he was so sad and said he was sorry for getting me such a bad gift.
"I said the gift was great, just that the execution sucked and he wouldn't have known that.
Others felt just as bad about the chunky nails and couldn't believe how awful they turned out.
One wrote: "That's crazy that she let you leave with them like that, like the shape is awful but even still they could of been saved if she just had of filing the f outta them and shaping them, pure lazy."
A second said: "Girl I'm so glad you didn't pay for this set. wtaf? like how...howwww."
And another commented: "I’m sorry but what was her excuse was she having a stroke?!?"
"They ain't nails they are spades," someone else joked.
"If you flipped me off I would just laugh," another added.
And one user jabbed: "I'm sorry but is she blind?"
